if it needs DLLS that you don't have, you can get them at http://verge-rpg.com/~tsb/files/hugewadofdlls.zip

I'm not quite ready to go out on a limb and call this the first nonbeta, but it's damn close.

In particular, the map editor got a major facelift, and it should be faster, and less buggy than before. (by far)

The Python API got fleshed out a bit more, and general stability for all. The graphics plugins no longer require a specific bitdepth for windowed mode, and there's gfx_soft16 now, which is a software renderer designed to be fast, at the cost of some visual quality.

As always, you can get the API reference at http://verge-rpg.com/~tsb/doc, which will be updated as questions are asked. :)

Information on Python itself is available at www.python.org
I guess the point of this post is to get the last bugs ironed out, before polishing it up and calling it "done". So, give it a shot. :)

Less goofy, more disturbingly depressing.

Miggle

Nothing too important, It's just that running the engine seems to revert my computer to 25mhz. I have No idea what causes that.

Miggle

Memory leak my friend. Running this slows my computer down bad. and about 5 minutes after, there's not enough memory to run programs??? Not cool being that I have 256mb.

Roto

Probably using the wrong graphics driver, my friend.

I tried to use the new exe (v27.exe) but still the maps won't render if you bring it into a loop in the autostart script of the map. I thought you'd have fixed the tile-loading by now.
