...It's here, finally! Thanks entirely to Arek and Omni, that is... I completely failed to get this thing put up ANYWHERE myself. (:

Anyhoo, here's hoping it's worth it... go to www.verge-net.com to find out more, and to get your hands on it. And lemme know what you think! (:

(The third game makes the other two worthwhile -- just trust me here (: )

Yeah, they're really cool. I'm still hunting down NeoVerge 1.1 so I can try to run Bridget II; I can run Bridget I with WinV1 (NeoVerge 1 crashes on it) and III with V2Win available at Verge-net.com. If anybody knows where I can get a copy of the latest version of NeoVerge, lemme know.

It is not wrong to not understand, for we are all ignorant, but neither is understanding pointless. Come visit www.verge-net.com!

Can't get Bridget II to work...NeoVerge 1.1 doesn't work with it, or Bridget I. Bummer, cause I did want to play two...oh well. Stupid WinXP -_-

What version of Windows do you have? As long as it's ME or lower, you should be able to play it with V1+, though ME doesn't quite handle the sound very well... but you can always mute it or something.

The reason NeoVerge doesn't run it, though, is probably because it uses V1+ code, which I think ONLY V1+ can handle... since I doubt anyone else has ever tried to port my crappily-written routines to any other versions of VERGE. (:

IMHO, though, we should all still be using Win98 anyway... or something non-Microsoft completely. (:

I run the forsaken WinXP. Looks pretty and runs all right, but as far as DOS Verge support goes, that's kinda it. I was trying to use NeoVerge because in the readme it says that it supports all versions of Verge1, pre or post-dev team (which should include yours, I believe).

Anyway, I'd put a more accepting OS on my desktop, but Dad likes XP...

Check out http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/vdmsound

Maybe that'll get you somewhere with the sound.
