. . . I was messing around with an old game in V1 the other day, and I keep encountering the same error (A page fault whenever I try to load a map). I recall seeing a fix for that in an FAQ or doc somewhere, but the V1 executables/docs all seem to have disappeared with the exception of the winverge stuff. Does anyone know how to either solve my problem or how I can get a copy of the V1 docs? Thanks.

Well I have a old verge.zip file (04/Jun/98). It's verge1 allright but I don't know if the stuff you need are in it...

I'm pretty sure I already have the zip file you refer to. However, any old docs (besides the normal vergeC function library and verge.doc), faqs, etc. would be handy.

I don't know where you can find docs anymore, but I do remember the fix for this: Make sure that your map's default x/y coordinates are far enough away from the edge of the map that the map's tiles will reach past the edge of the screen in every direction (this is the old "tarkuss" bug rearing it's ugly head).
