Obviously I opened a rather large can of worms so I'm not going to say which is better (please no 4x4 hitting), but here is why I asked.

For the last two months, I've been working on a game and it is now become rather developed(and complicated) with a manu and battle system. It currently resides in V2.6. Until recently, I was using music I found on the internet. About a week ago, I wrote a half way decent theme. But it's in .it format and all attempts to convert it have really messed it up. TSB had a special version of V2.6 that could do .it files but it had a bug in the sound that would cause it to crash when ever a sound effect was played.

Now I've seriously considered porting it over to the python based V2.7, but I know squat about it and I can't find any toutorials. (which is how I learned Verge in the first place)

I'm open to suggestions.

v2.7 comes packed in with a tutorial written by myself. :)

Basically, it's v2.6 using v2.7's sound engine. I'll see if I can cram it down your email provider's throat.

The email in your profile doesn't appear to be valid. Do you have one that I can actually send to? :>

I think I may have borught this up a long time ago but I discovered a bug in which Verge crashes when a sound effect is played. Is this just a missing dll or what?
