I just finished VERGE2editor which is an alternative to MSDos Edit. It features syntax highlighting, and the standard copy, cut, paste, undo, redo. I use it myself a lot because It makes coding much easier, and, of course, the save and load dialogs make it much quicker to save files. I was wondering if you would like to put it on your site, maby as an optional utility? I'll e-mail the ZIP with the installation file if ya want to look at it first. Or if ya want screenshots.

i forgot to mention that you can also run VERGE from the Editor, and the Map Editor, which can speed up development too!

I am working on the following features (I'm going to be away this weekend so it might not be until monday before a full version is up but I'll upload a version in the next hour or to).
I am going to be working on the following features:

- a 'Edit This Map' command that will load MapEdit with the map of the same name as the file that is open (with the map extention).

- a 'Run this game' that runs VERGE.EXE in the current directory that your map files are being edited in.

- a 'Media Browser' that displays the media in a directory you choose, whith VERGE2-specific icons.

I probibally won't have all the menu options enabled when I u/l it today, but this monday I'll resume filling in the features.

(My little gift to the VERGE community;)

I'll have it's own page up but I'm in a hurry right now (going outta town this weekend). It's not the final version, but starting this monday, I'll get back to adding feature. In the meantime, email me your questions/comments/or something you'd like to see added at cyberdude9341133@cs.com (just click the mail button on this forum).

Ok i guess I have to give ya the link to get it (I'm not sure if I need to HTML it so I'll do it both ways). It's:

What do ya think? If I don't think people are using it, then there wont be a point to me making it better. Give me feedback. Good or bad.
