I am the almost proud designer of the scrapped games Twilight and True Fantasy. I wonder if anyone remembers me. Oh well, I'm just here to say that I will try to work on Twilight more. Anyone remember... Oh well.
Any ideas would be much appreciated...
I just read the messages on the board and I wonder where all the excitement about VERGE RPGs went. I want to at least show my excitement about mine.

I don't remember anyone called TacticsM, but I think I remember someone going by the name of Chaos Blade. Maybe I was too young of a Verger to remember...^_^ Ah, well.
I have a theory about all the excitement leaving the Verge domain. It goes like this: The older Vergers are realizing that Verge has its limits, and that they can't compete with games like Shen Mue, and the newbie Vergers don't have a clue of how to use Verge yet. There's only the newbies and the oldies. There are only a few in between. I think of myself in between newbies and the l33t. And I have plenty of zeal(is zeal the right word for this?) for building my game!
Anyways, hope you get Twilight back on track and stuff... Just make sure you get it complete this time! ^_~

I thought the point of making a game was because it's FUN? Or to convey a point. Or both. The creators of VERGE never claimed it would have super high capabilites. Only that it would allow you make SNES and Genisis quality games, and it works quite well for that.
Just me attempting to remember all of you why you started this in the first place because you wanted too. I mean, it's not like you need to make a super high quality game to get money since as far as I know all of the VERGE projects are freeware anyway.

I've noticed a great deal of Verge Engines coming out but no games. I think that because oldbies can't get make games that are like Shenmue or even an old starfox game they have tried to make engines instead of games. That's why it's up to the Newbies and Mediumbies to make use of verge and all that's it worth. (I suddenly feel so inspired!)

I mean, I certainly wasn't one of the first but I remember lotsa stuff like when the boards were full of discusion about games and any sort of flame at all would start a 40 branch long conversation about how bad flameing was. Of cours when you say oldbie what are you talking about. I mean, I was here when they started talking about making V2. Whatever, just keep the games coming.
