I just read an article (one of *many*) on the FF movie that delved into the possibility of CG animation replacing human actors onscreen. What are your thoughts on the future of CG?

Okay, now the real question. This is mostly for the site admins, I'm sure.

Sometimes when I try to post a new thread to the board, I get the following error stream:
_______________________________________________________

Warning: fopen(".board/mesboard.txt","w") - Permission denied in /home/httpd/verge-rpg.com/writeboards.php on line 5

Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/httpd/verge-rpg.com/writeboards.php on line 7

Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /home/httpd/verge-rpg.com/writeboards.php on line 9
_______________________________________________________

This is *only* when I post a new thread. I can still reply to messages without issue.

Usually, this problem will last a few hours, and then I can post again.

Any ideas?

That is all.

Miggle

There is no way in hell Cg will replace real actors, because there is simply no point. Really If you think about it what is the point? Hiring voice actors would be the same price as acting on screen.
Another reason is simply tradition. We won't just dump all of our movie techniques and knowledge for knowledge of 3d application. Also I can't see all of hollywood turning in to a bunch of keyboard tappers and voice actors, there's just way less glamor in that.
No more lighting guys, Advisors, Stuntmen.
So "I say" no not happening, not on this planet.

It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
