I am on the verge of releasing the first demo of my new video game. Only one problem, unbeknownst to me V2.6 is consdered unstable and won't run on many systems. I want to move forward to V2.7 but I don't know python(which I would love a tutorial on coding in V2.7) and I have a rather large and complex battle system in it which I am not looking forward to porting. So I have started thinking about backing up into V2.5.

My question is what features does V2.6 have that V2.5 doesn't?

The main one is that it runs in win2k, which more than a few of us run. ^_^

And if you'd like to learn python, check the tutorial on www.python.org. It's not verge specific, but after the first few chapters, you'll probably know enough to dive right in to v2.7. :) (that's what most people do)
