And a merry Christmas to you...

Windows. Directx, more specifically, you need at least DirectX 7, I believe.

B. When I try to use it. I get an error message saying a file called Midas11.DLL what do i need to get that??

Grab the v2.6 demo. It has everything you need, and even uses the correct palettemorph(). ;-)

C. V2.6 supports 16 bit color? or 24 bit...

It can display in 8 bit (256 color) and in 16 bit (or 15 bit, your comp decides), but loads images of any bit depth.

D. Will there ever be a Verge That can Support JPEGS??
(JPG)?

I suspect not, but stranger things have happened.

Praetor

I highly doubt that such a lossy and difficult to code format would be supported by Verge.

The price you pay for quality is way more than the effort to add support is worth.

However, Verge will soon (i.e., probably next release) support PNG (Portable Network Graphic) files which are lossless, support 32-bit color, and are VERY small.

So, I wouldn't worry about JPGs...
