are there any out there?
or atleast some v2.7 games that I could pick apart to write some tuts, I mean, this is all really odd for me, I am not good with python, I understand it, but not the way V2.7 uses it, I can read it but not write it....
gah, headache ;-)

if anyone wonders what happened to me (then stop)
no really, I was really pissed off at verge for awhile, not the community, not the coding, just the program, it never ran, it was a pain, and its limitations sucked ass, I ran across 3d studio max, of course I don't have the $1200 to buy the 'good' version, so I got the pirated version instead, I started making some killer demos, alot of them almost done, but none of which are fun, not much you can do in 3d really.... I mean, seriously, even that has limitations....
so I came back after about aweek, but never posted, I pretty much havent programmed in like amonth or 2, er... I sorta want to try v2.7, but I never really seen any games, tuts, docs, or anyone even remotely talking about it (like helpful wise)
errr.... well hell, I'm sorta back, but I am looking for a damn good programming language, verge looks good again, as v2.7 works on this puter, and that to kill a bowie game shows potential in the actual graphics and cleanness of v2.7, but it still doesn't say anything for the fact that v2.7 has no tuts, docs, or really any demos :-(
oh, and I need to do the 'coming back' thing

YO! this is Karma, remember me, way back when v2.7 was first released, I've been around for 2 years and acouple months (or something like that) you might remember me under the name KarmaCult, or um... KarmaCult, and don't forget KarmaCult :-)

ok, enough babbling by me, I'm going to go now....
probably go look at v2.7.

I'm going to make a verge, its going to be called Verge: ITLUYATSBOVOTOOAOCDTTKHTPIV, it will stand for 'Verge: Impossible to learn unless you are The Speed Bump or Vecna or Tatsumi Oreo or a cool Developement team that knows how to program in Verge' :)

There's not a lot on v2.7 yet.

Docs:
http://verge-rpg.com/~tsb/doc/

Some lil' games:
http://verge-rpg.com/~tsb/files/bowie.ziphttp://verge-rpg.com/~tsb/files/trigem.zip
http://verge-rpg.com/~tsb/files/mrdough.zip

IRC client!
http://verge-rpg.com/~tsb/files/kwircy.zip (needs the full python2.1 distro, which you can grab from www.python.org)

Khross also made a breakout clone, which I believe you can grab from his page at http://mastercain.com/khross/

Enjoy!

I'm working on documentation. It's going pretty well. It uses the compiled HTML help system (.chm) and will focus mainly on scripting. It'll be out soon. However, I'm not sure if there'll ever be documentation on WinMapEd 2.7 ;)

In addition to what the_Speed_Bump said earlier, you need to have at least some knowledge of Python in order to use V2.7. I recommend the python tutorial at http://www.python.org/doc/current/tut/tut.html (*Arek kicks the board for not having some method of making active hyperlinks...).

Ben McGraw's lovingly crafted this website from scratch for years.
It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
