Is there a way to disable the verge startup screen? It makes the game look very unprofessional when it's there.

uh... what?

You mean that one Bigfoot made? http://verge-rpg.com/~tsb/files/v2bigfoot.png
I code that in myself. The engine itself doesn't load any images at all.

Have you ever seen a console game that doesn't begin with the logo of the console? "Unprofessional", indeed. :P

Don't mind me I smoke crack!
Yeah I thought it was like "sphere" and it showed it everytime you started it up. I don't care anymore even if it was like that.

Pretty much everything for the NES and SNES that wasn't made by Nintendo shows no logo. The old Atari and Commodore systems tended not to show a logo. Pretty sure the Master System didn't, either. :)

I'm against a hard coded VERGE logo anyway, because it does look unprofessional in that you cannot work the logo into the opening of your game, as most developers do.

It wasn't that console developers had more character than they do now, it's just that storing a logo image in the hardware would have been too costly. ^_~
