The solution to everyone's problems, the ability to add plugins. Then people would be able to add whatever they like. Mp3 support, mpg support, vector animation, 3d animation, whatever you can think of, or download. Just a thought.

Yeah, that's a thought. Many have dreamed of these thingies from the dawn of VERGE, but suddenly woke up and realized that the world's been pretty nasty to them. The mp3 support and the 3d animations make the engine too slow. But the vector graphics...heh, why not? =)

and yes, I'm joking. Unlike you unsatisfied campers, there isn't anything else that I need/lust/want anythin else. Verge2k+j is perfection.

Pyhton allows for C written modules for intergration. Its not as easy as you want to think it is, but its all documented at python.org. But for the animation tasks, you can write your own 3d stuff in v2.7 (I am currently working on some basic 3d code for menus and other small 3d objects). Vector animation can be done as well in python. I don't see anything special about it that it can't be done even in VC.
Just don't underestimate the power of Pyhton.

Although, you'd have to figure out how those files work first.
Personally, I want to see MIDI added. I write MIDIs but I can't put them in!
