I don't know if anyone still uses Verge 1 or anything, but I still enjoy using it and I have a problem. I just copied it onto a new computer with Windows XP and when I run any of the executables in the DOS window I get "General Protection Fault at" and then a list of numbers and letters all with a three letter code starting with "e" equaling some hex number (i.e. something to the effect of eqs = 1EEF65211). Under that is "Call Frame Traceback" and then a bunch of other funky number and letter codes. Anyone have any idea what this means? I figured it has something to do with Windows XP but I'm not sure.

Well, If you are just using the exe to play games, you should download WinVerge1, http://www.vergesource.com/files/view/101/WinV1.zip
If that one doesn't work, try Neoverge
http://ikagames.com/andy/neoverge.zip

I'm not sure what to do if you're trying to make something in V1 though...

TheGerf, not just any gerf.

I'm trying to make a game. In fact it's partially done; I was using a Win95 computer and I recently got a new laptop with WinXP so I transfered my game to it.
