Mortuus

There are no FAQs about VERGE 2. Is it stable yet? Or just abandoned or what?

V2's documentation kinda took second string to the
actual engine development. There's very little, and
it's scattered and hard to find. Frankly, I don't know
where any of it is anymore, and it's certainly _not_
on my comp :(

V2 got stable, and then unstable, and then stable
again, from v2.01 to v2.5/2.6. Now there's tSB's v2.7
with Python instead of VC that's more stable than
any other version right now (IMHO).

That is all.

Ulver

documentation is sparse and poopy but you might want to read through
http://v2tutor.8m.com/
has some useful info.
The tutorial section of THIS site (http://www.verge-rpg.com/) is also helpful. The Verge Source had tons of great reads but that site isnt around anymore :(

Mortuus? Mortiis? Stargate? mmmm makes me wanna listen to Child of Curiosity and Old Man of Knowledge where did i put that MP3...

Roto

FAQs are around. Ulver mentioned some pretty good sites but if you want some really nice in-depth tutorials, swing by ric's site, Extended Play, and download aen's tutorials. Neither the site or the tutorials should be hard to find. Just check the link pages here. If you can't find the link, I wouldn't mind giving you direct URLS. Mums the word.

The Verge Source used to have a pretty long and straight-to-point FAQ but it's dead and I don't have a backup copy stored on my computer. I suggest you visit# verge or #vchelp on Espernet and ask around. Someone could probably provide the html.

Verge's stability depends on the version mostly and it's state of abandonment depends on your perspective.

Ben McGraw's lovingly crafted this website from scratch for years.
It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
