Why is there better support and information for Verge on Verge Source than verge-rpg.com?

Does it have something to do with offical versioning or something like that? Come on, how long is it going to be until V2K is official?

It's mainly due to our (those of us who run verge-rpg.com) time constraints. vecna is very busy. So is zeromus. So am I. I work full time - up to 80 hours a week (those are the bad weeks though ;). With finals coming to close for the school kids, hopefully someone will have time to put html up the docs and put them up. If you're offering, feel free. ^_^

Rukus

Verge-rpg should hold some kind of Contest, I'm sure a lot of people will enter. Plus, It will increase traffic AND get V-rpg more games and stuff.

You mention a contest, but what type. A development contest? We've had one, but it kind of panned out, and HoV contest are really just unofficial runs. Catch ya on the flip side.

Devlyn(dad)

You just pick out an ancient computer game, and the goal is to recreate the first level as good as possible.

That'd make for a nice contest I think...

Rukus

Make an NES or SNES Game contest where just like Devlyn said, Remake the first level of a game. And it could be these games, Damn I should throw a contest like this!
1.Bomberman
2.Megagman
3.Castlevania
4.Ninja Turtles
5.Mario
6.Zelda
7.Metroid
8.Double Dragon
9.Earthworm Jim
You get the picture? So to all the Admin on V-RPG, This would be one Hell of an Contest, AND it should run for 2 weeks AND The winner gets money, like 50 bucks or something.

Rukus

[17:34] did anyone read my post ;_;
[17:34] Rukus!
[17:35] You can't win money for a simple reason.
[17:35] Nobody makes any money off of VERGE.
[17:35] 50 bucks is cheap as hell
[17:35] Tell you what.
[17:35] But it's only 50 bucks and it's a contest!
[17:35] You run the contest, and donate the prize money. ;)
[17:35] * Rukus would do it if he had a job
[17:36] * tSB[code] rests his case.
[17:36] But the Idea is cool though without the money part huh?
[17:36] Sorta.
[17:36] I'd rather see an original game than a spinoff any day of the week.
[17:36] And none of those games are even RPGs. ;)
[17:37] 1st level!
[17:37] What does that have to do with anything?
[17:37] RPG's don't go by levels!
[17:37] They go by Stories
[17:38] BTW Zelda's half RPG!

He has a point...You don't make money off of verge sooooo, I will be willing to donate something (Like a gift certificate or something, maybe a video) if V-RPG is willing to sponsor this.
