Hey,
I am thinking of switching to win2k (actually running it in VMWare), and I was wondering if anyone has any experiance of V2k+j in 2K. If it doesn't work I will just install 98 :P Thanks!

Use v2.6r2 from http://www.verge-net.com, in their V2 engine downloads. Not R4, just R2. It uses Directx and is compatible with all V2kj code, and has hicolor and works better in Windows. V2kj and all DOS based Verges are incompatible with XP and Win2K, so this is your ticket right here.

It is not wrong to not understand, for we are all ignorant, but neither is understanding pointless.

Seriously, I've been trying to get a V2 thingummy I've been working on on my Win98 laptop to work on my WinXP desktop for a while, but none of the V2.6 versions I downloaded worked. Apparently I just had the wrong releases, 'cause this one worked fine!

Much obliged!

I've known for a while on my machine that most versions of V2.6 don't work well, but release 2 works just fine.
