I think the download didn't work because:
a] theres a space in the file's name.
b] some were putting www in the link.

I KNOW this will work!

I finally got it to work today but with a .exe instead of a .zip

Ok I plan to make VEW2_1 compatible with more versions of verge. IF you don't use VERGE2_7 and VEW2 doesn't run your game, post what version your using, and EXACTILY how VERGE, VCC, and MAPED work.

Here's an example, of what I'd say for VERGE2_7:
