I have finished programming a program browser (aka project manager). Though the orginazation on how it looks is still under development, it is fully functional. What it does, is when you click on an open file, it will list in the project manager, all the map files, and VC files. When you double-click on a VC file, it will open that file in a new code window. If you double-click a map file, it will load that map in the map editor!

I am adding code to put the files in seperate "folders" as in you'll see the folders: "VC Files", "Map Files", "Character Files", "Music Files", ect... And when you click to expand that folder, it will give you the list of files in that type. And, of course, all vc files in the list will have an icon of an open book, all MAP files have an icon of a map, system.vc has an icon that looks like a frequency thingy, and user.cfg is an icon of a wrench. VEW2_1 is going to be cool :)
