I have finished VEW2, but I had another idea to add to it's usefullness. Plugins. For example, it will include a plug-in called "Key Definitions", and when you double-click it, a window opens with all the key definitions for you. Also, I will put in a "FadeIn/FadeOut" plugin, which will open a window with fadein and fadeout commands. If I make a plug-in editor (it would take about 1 hour to do), so other people could make plug-ins, would you use it?
The reason I think it would be neat is because if someone wanted the key definitions (or fade in/out, or anyother useful command), all they have to do is double-click the plug-in, then just copy-paste it into there code.
Well let me know :)

I really hope that VEW2 will bring in more newbies, and help get games written faster, by giving them tools so they dont sit there and ask questions like "why are the colors messed up", or "how do i...". It should also help bring in the community of people who are afraid of DOS (or just hates DOS), because they will NEVER have to see a DOS screen to use VERGE2. On top of that, since it will have VERGE zips, they will know EXACTILY what to download (and I added console.zip and system.fnt to VERGE1_7.zip)... I hope this will help the VERGE community, even if it's just a small "push on the swing"...
