I have spent like 3 weeks working on my tiles, they look great, they are even par with the Verge palette (which wouldn't matter really since I am using the v2.5+j) but when I load my .pcx file it shows up as horrible non-distinguishable colors, and I am not sure what to do since I have never really had this problem before, even when I wasn't following the Verge palette.
Help me, I spent way to long on those tiles to just toss them....

What color depth are you saving the pcx in?
Are you loading it in maped? In that case, you could try using another converter to convert it to a tileset before loading it in the map.
That's all I can think of now.

Mythril. I like it with y, so don't try to make me change it to "Mithril".

Are you importing via Layer/import image?

Maped won't load a new palette with import image as layer. Load your layer(s), just like you did. Then with your funky colored map, press Ctrl (to tile-ed) then select import pcx. Browse for your layer.pcx, and select it., select to import as either type, and the palette should correct. Since you don't really want to import tiles, hit Esc, Esc to go back to maped.

The color change may render maped all but useless, so I hope you know maped well, or add all you obstructions, etc. before you 'fix' the palette.

Otherwise, yes, it must be a 256 color pcx.

Some cards don't like hicolor... and display strange colors in that mode. If this isn't your problem then I don't know what to say except wait for V2.6 (WinV2), which could fix the problem... shouldn't be much longer, tSB says
