Python is a scripting language, like VC. Except that it's better. ^_~
You can read the documentation, and download the interpreter (which you won't need to run v2.7, if anybody's wondering) at http://python.org

That comment is outdated. The very first v2.6 release did use g++, but the comment never got updated alongside the engine.
