I have tried the new windows xp professional preview package and verge will not work with it. I hate to admit it but I am new to verge but would like to create video games with it.

damn short topics :( Long answer: Verge1 and most usable verge2 versions are all DOS programs, and, I beleive XP is an off shoot of the NT kernal, and thus, is not a DOS based OS. If its like 2000, then there should be a "dos emulator", but, from what I have heard, that has a lot of compatablity issues, and Verge doesnt work. On the plus side, I am pretty sure V2.7 works 100% with XP being that v2.7 is windows native in a way. Hope that wasnt as confusing as I think it is... im tired...

What's that supposed to be? Maybe:

Windows X-treme Package?
Windows X-ceptionally Professional?
Windows X-traordinarily Pliable?

Sorry, way off topic :)

That is all.

According to 'CNN' XP stands for Experience, whether it means M$'s experience at getting money out of people or building crappy OSs the world may never know.

XP means experience? Well then, WinXP better be damn good, or Microsoft's gonna get shafted for that move :)

That is all.
