Hey hey! Friendly neighborhood Wyrdwad here... horribly bored at work, but with no drive (and not a large enough block of time) to actually work on Forgotten Kings right now... so I dug through my old VERGE games and played through Wooly's most recent demo of The Gods Destiny again.
And wow... I had forgotten how GREAT that game was. All I really remembered about it was that Firo was the villain, there was a love story between Conata and Ecume, and there was more FMV in that demo than in any other that's ever been released. (: That and I always regarded it as my favorite VERGE demo.
I played it through again... and it was FUN!! About 2 hours of FUN gameplay, mixed with a fairly unique and well-written story. And I was wondering: Wooly, are you still around? Are you still working on this game? I know you had another game you were making too, in French... but if you're still around, please reply and let me know.
And keep working on GD... it's a great game!! And you ended it at the most climactic moment in the entire story, and I WANT MORE!! (: Heheheheheh...

P.S. Been busy at work (for a change) lately, and been busy with Xenosaga (which I finally completed) and some other PS2 RPGs (Popolocrois 3, which sucks -- see my review of it on Gameforms... and .hack, which I'm stuck in) and some anime and such at home, so work on Forgotten Kings has been at a standstill for quite a while now... but summer vacation is coming soon, and I'll be sitting at the town hall's board of education from 8:30-4:15 every weekday with absolutely NOTHING to do (literally!), so I estimate a LOT of work getting done on Forgotten Kings by the end of August, with a demo release quite probable. I'll keep you posted!! I know I haven't had the best of track records in the past with actually getting stuff done, but my inspiration to finish FK has never once waned since the completion of the plot summary, and ideas for sub-quests and sequel bait and such are constantly popping into my head... so fear not, FK *will* be a reality, I promise you that!!

Hi Wyrdwad,
I didn't work on Gods for a long time. The introduction is mostly done. But when I heard that there would be a new version of Verge, I thought that it would be nice to do gods with it. Maybe I'm wrong, I don't know. I would like to finish it, for sure. But time is missing :(
But I think I will find some time to do it soon. Maybe I should just show a demo of the introduction. Seems nice to me. Just to let you all see what it looks like now. Well, I'll think about it.
I'm happy to see that I'm not forgotten ;)
By the way, Gods is the only game I work on now. Ecume and Conata will be back, you can be sure. I just don't know when :)
