As mentioned on this webpage, there are at least plans to make a OSX version of Verge. Sounds like a great idea as there are not so many OSX games available and many mac users come from a creative corner.
Guys like me, who don't want to spent much time by making their OS to do what it should do, but instead use their time to produce fun stuff.
As soon as I get my new harddisk built into my Powerbook G4, I will put Ubuntu on my mac as well.
Means: Would be great to get a version of Verge that works on machine running Linux or a OSX.
(No, I have do not have the money to buy me one of these new DualCore MacBooks so that I could run Vista or XP as well....)

So, is there a Verge I could use to start working on my ideas?

Thanks for reply.

There is already a Mac OS version of the engine. Just go ahead and click the blue Mac icon on the left-hand sidebar. If you're more adventurous, the SVN contains an xcode project that SHOULD build you the most recent version -- assuming nothing has been broken in the meantime!

As for Linux, there was some rumblings in the past about a Linux version, but I'm not sure what's happened to it. Anyone else know?

O.K. - but I always get the BAD MONKEY when I try to download. Something wrong with my firewall or what is that poor animal trying to tell me?

Have you tried installing WINE on your OSX machine? Verge 3 may be able to run using that emulator...

It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
