Eh, don't get me wrong, it's a comfortable silence. But moving all chat off the forums and into dedicated blogs makes this place look much deader than it actually is.

Overkill

I tend to agree, there needs to be more forum posting.

As it stands, I've gotten in a bad habit of pretty much just writing blog posts instead of forum threads, and just talking over AIM/MSN.

Part of this is due to frustration with being logged out from the forums half the time. :(

Another part, is all the Verge devs including myself have become busy with work and school things.

There's a few issues with the engine that need to be tackled before the engine can be pushed. Most of them platform compatibility things, because a couple frameworks like SDL were updated.

it wouldn't hurt to have all the gruedorf stuff actually show up on the main page in some way, other than in an old buried post.

I've been sorta focused on my day job for the last several weeks, but apart from that the http://beta.verge-rpg.com still continues.
And there'll be a gruedorf forum when that launches. And a front page panel. And pie!

It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
