I decided JPEG was going to kill this picture, and most of you probably have speedy connections anyways. Anyways, some of you who played V2 versions of Vortex might remember this as the final battle in that demo I released. It will also be the final battle in Phobos Project's first demo. Just wanted to post this as a way of saying that the demo is almost done, and I expect to have it out before Christmas like I promised way back in the summer.
cool looks very nice
couple of nitpicks on player positioning (looks like the top player is in the rock
and the menu positioning (the fight menu should be directly below the players)
question is the shadow just a part of the enemy animation? I do like how the top lights up but not the bottom. (The front shine seems like its coming from a different source is that intentional?)

Yeah, I know... It sucks when I get all that work done in Photoshop, and then when I import it into Maped it is a little off. I didn't think it was off enough to warrant redoing it, I guess.

One of those things I still have to get around to changing...

Almost all the monsters are blitted with Alphablit (the few others use AdditiveBlit), so it's pretty easy to get shadows that way.

Nope, just shoddy artwork. ;-)
Ben McGraw's lovingly crafted this website from scratch for years.
It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
