I'm running a compo out of http://compo.tomt64.com/ Please sign up if interested. f you want to judge instead, email me.
You get to sign up your team, and add and remove members as you see fit. There is not limit on members, but 4 is a generally accepted maximum unless you're doing something spectacular or if you absolutely need more than 4 for their particular skills. The theme and random rules will be known at compo start. The page has the rest of the info you may need.
Also this compo is for any and all free engines. So use sphere, ika, or some other free thing if you want, but don't MOD a game I would have to buy.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and tehre's a forum that you can ask questions on. If you don't catch me on IRC, you should ask there or email me, because I will NOT be checking this forum regularly, and my forums notify me of replies.

I don't know that there will be the interest to have a specifically verge competition, so are people keen at fielding a verge team in this? I'm keen to give it a go just because I've never done it before, but for the same reason I wouldn't want to be the one overseeing it all. Is there interest in this?

I'd be happy to do a V3-only compo, just so long as it's no longer thank a week. I have work to be getting on with over Christmas for Uni, argh. So, something short with a particular theme would be ace.
