I need the assistance of someone who can get their PC into 15 bit color mode, and 24 bit color mode.

Anyone out there willing to help?

My sister's old, creaky 450mhz PC (which happens to be made out of the largely reconstituted remains of my old one) can manage 24bit mode but not 15bit. Am I useful?

No, I meant 15. I can only do 16 and 32 here, and verge supports 15, 16, 24, and 32.

I need to debug a library I wrote that uses a color-coded imagemap, and so I need to verify that my assumptions are correct for all users.

My 450 mhz can do 15 and 24 bit. Just to make sure 15 bit is the funky 555 that almost no one uses, and 16 is the 565 at everyone uses, did I get that right?

le virtuale pc!

if you don't have vpc, send me a query on IRC and I can run it in mine. I'm pretty sure VPC emulates a card with 15 and 24 bit support.
