It actually doesn't have any glitches or weird things this time. Mainly because it's based on the TONC tutorials for the GBA affine transform backgrounds.

This is not the same as the affine capability I mentioned working on in the Developer Forum; but this has actually been sitting around, and since I figured it was leagues better than my previous Mode7 attempt, and perhaps useful, then perhaps you might think so as well.

Comes with readme--instructions and general information.

Yes. ID 666 is really, really weird.

This is a really awesome demo. I may call upon it in the future....

Great job Omni :)

Thanks!

For anybody interested, the ever-useful Sin & Cos: The Programmer's Pals tutorial (Google, or see the links page) has a section on Mode7 demos. I don't use their code to render the Mode7 plane, but! They have a nifty section on displaying a Mode7 sprite, which I believe is easier to understand than the TONC version. (Being that S&C:TPP was written for PC and TONC was written for GBA).

Ben McGraw's lovingly crafted this website from scratch for years.
It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
