A.k.a. Productivity via peer-pressure [version 2].
In an attempt to make the Verge scene feel a little less dead, I announce to have something (anything) done using the Verge 3 engine by April 30th.
I haven't created a single tile or sprite, nor a single line of code, and have no screenshots or concept drawings whatsoever.
I do have a very nebulous idea for a storyline. You play a mysterious woman on the run from a bioresearch facility. Your goal is to find a man by the name of Ethan Philips. He will help you. The title of the game shall be 'Athena-17'. That is all.
If I fail, I shall forever bear the scorn of the community (even though I've never contributed anything in the past and none of you guys know me anyway).
Huzzah.

I hope you do well this time around with meeting your deadline and all. I mean, I wouldn't want my dismembered corpse to be eaten by zombie Grues. :D
On the other hand, deadlines are stupid. But it's true that they can pressure you to work harder!
EDIT: Someone's name is strikingly similar to mine. *kill = rawk.

No pressure if you don't finish anything. But, it would indeed be cool if you did.

I'll hopefully have a nice beefy demo out by early july?
I'd provide story details but... I'd prefer to keep things underwraps.

I'll have something. Eventually. It's been on the backburner while I've been collecting resources, but the exciting thing is that the project actually requires resources. I'll give you a hint as to what it is, though, and a quick Google search would probably give it away. Here's the hint: it's a remake of a 1986 game and I'm working with author Rob Swigart. No kidding. The exciting thing is that I've actually been talking with him and he's giving me access to all the original game resources.
No deadlines, but definitely exciting.
Look at me! I posted! I do exist! I think this is my first post of the year. Sorry, College has been killing me.
