Ok, I'm gonna need to edit the source because of that Act 4 restarting bug, which isn't a show-stopper but is VERY egregious. And it seems like a lot of people wanna go back in the castle for some reason.
So, if there are any other bugs or little things that you think need to be fixed, speak now or forever hold your peace. This is probably the last time the game will ever be changed.
Thanks!

I'd like twice as much plot! And for Ghash not to suck!
...ahem. I definitely remember there being a few more bugs, but damned if I can recall them now. All I can say for sure is that there was something up with the exit to that cave in Lumen, because I remember something mildly atypical happening once when I went back in that way. Sorry, it's been a while.

Thanks so much for that hint, actually id forgotten the most importent thing in an rpg, when all else fails talk to EVERYONE
I really did like the ending, and thank you for giving it some closure, i really like that in an rpg, knowing what happened to my characters, it helps flesh the story out.
the only strange thing i encountered was with when the game started, it seemed like the scan rate was off or something, bunch of lines through it, was fine once i switched to windowed mode, but when I got to the mine puzzle whenever i went from the hall to the first switch room on the left, it would resize my window, just plain weird, a little bothersome but it only happened a few times.
Grenideer i really appreciate the work and thought you put into this, good rpgs with good story lines are hard to come by.
Are you working on any more by chance? I would really look foreword to a sequal with this perhaps. Again, thanks.
oh by the way the reason folks are wanting to go that way is because the wolf had found a separate entrance to the red tower from down there, thats what i assumed is i was supposed to take the underground entrance to it

Gren has abandoned the indie-rpg scene.. ;)
Oh man Gren, give me a version of DD that has all the characters buffed up to the maximum level so I won't have any difficulty completing the game at all :D
Plus, can you send me the character portraits I did ;_; Haven't been bugging you because of your work.. Hope it's going great though! :D

grenideer:
1) Change the default resolution of the game to 640x480 windowed mode (or at least note in the readme file the places where this resolution is required). Many persons shall not find how to alter the .cfg file themselves. I have not been able to run your game in full-screen mode, no matter the resolution.
2) Fix your WIN. install file so that it extracts a music directory, not an archive only, in which files match the D. O. S. Version. Many persons find it discouraging having the game immediately exit on the first map to a prompt that a music file is not found. I find if I only add that one music file from the D. O. S. Version that another music file is not found (again immediately exiting the game to a prompt so indicating without allowing me a chance to save).
3) Perhaps fix the menu bug?
Respectfully:

All out of plot, Gayo :). Ghash ain't so bad if you get his weapon, but I really should have given him a skill.
No, I'm not working on any sequels to the game. And I haven't abandoned the scene Arias :). I've just sold out and gone pro! No, really, I'm still not online yet at my new place. That's the main reason I haven't been around that much.
Man, you haven't beaten the game yet? Even I didn't have easy cheats to help myself through the game. I would need to put levelups in the code and such. I think someone around here mentioned how to cheat by editing the savefiles in hex. Otherwise, put some work into it man! It's not all that hard if you carry healing with you.
Thanks for the kind words paladin. Sorry you and cmdratz had video issues. I can't really change anything with that without way too much work. Default reolution of 640x480, for example, would break the maps and let you see twice as much as you should, among other things. And I didn't write the code packer, and I think you've been the only one with trouble with the windows packer.

If this is really a problem, C. M. D., you could use the Unpack Hack.
