I am looking for a Domain registrar that is cheap and trusted, since Domains seem to be a very scam filled industry, I was wondering if anyone have registrars to suggest to me.

Thanks

Oh, and don't any of you try to register Synisthebestandyouallknowit.com!!

I used DROA (Domain Registry of America) for grenideer.com and it has been cheap.

I recently got GoDaddy for hosting and domain registry and their prices have been very competitive compared to Yahoo! and others. GoDaddy doesn't have an easy, slick interface though. It is pretty awful, actually. I find it hard to find simple things on the website but I suppose you can get used to it.

This is gonna sound like a shameless plug, but since you asked :P
I happen to be working at an web hosting company called iWeb (iweb.com) based in Montreal.
We are an Internet Names and Cira registrar.
I think that getting a domain from us is a little bit expensive (~25$/year for a .com) compared to others.
But if you combine this with web hosting, it's worth it. (if that's what you are looking for).
Web hosting is ~7$/month (it's cheaper if you pay several months ahead) and with that you can have a domain .com for 99ยข the first year, then 9.99$/y after that.
My gruedorf blog is hosted there.

But if you're just looking for a registrar, iWeb is a little bit over the average in terms of cost.

Anyway, check this: http://iweb.com/web-hosting/, it's the web hosting part, good stuff if you need it!
Hope it helps!

Just use melbourneit.com if you're going that route....

Thanks guys, after review my choices and considering I do not need webhosting (I love my current webhost), I decided to go with GoDaddy. Since I had previous experience with them and their price don't seem as expensive as I thought after comparing. I do agree their site is the least user friendly I have ever seen in my life.

It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
