there needs to be a drawing forum...but anyways

well I'm working on a drawing which I want you guys to look at. I need suggestions and comments on it like whats wrong, body shape, what color her cloak should be, etc. It's for the game I'm working on. I'm drawing bunch of concept art n' stuff.

here is the link to the drawing: girl pic

*edit* I'm not finshed with the drawing by the way I finished the face on her

Overall, it looks good. The elbows are perhaps a touch thin, and the forearms are definitely too wide, but the rest of her looks proportionate. As for color, maroon outfit with gold trim (and swirlies) if medium to dark skin, or blue/gold if fair skinned.

My opinion is void where prohibited, not available in all 50 states, returns accepted for exchange only, may have been made on equipment used for proccessing nuts or nut products, over-consumption may have a laxative effect.

Edit: nevermind, it was protowall forbidding me access.

Chill; I can see that you're a pretty good artist :) Nice clean lineart, and looks like you could do a marvellous finishing job. We'll see more when you finish.

On another note, I don't post my artwork here because I don't like whoring my art (Chill; not saying you are). I didn't particularly like all the artists posting their art and being overhyped in the past Verge message board; although admittedly I did post a few myself ;_;

Grue, you could consider setting up an artist's board I guess; that might attract more artists into Verge. Hm.

yea I didn't want to "show off" my art, but I do like to get feedback to see what's wrong with it.

Okie dokie, here's my two cents..

Head is pretty ok, the neck a little too easily open.. it should maintain parallel straightness a little longer before opening up to the shoulders.

"Baggy" gloves? Ok I guess.. but your fingers are not precise enough; especially on her right hand. Fingers are too short; no feeling of joints. Left hand fingers also suffer from being un-natural. Cloth folds are ok, body is ok I guess.. Can't say much about the legs because i can't see the rest of it to judge.

Belly button could be cuter.

she has some shoulder pad thing she's waring, but you can't see it =P

yea, I guess the baggy gloves don't look right, I'll see what I can do.

Belly button could be cuter.
