gannon	Would anyone be willing to make a write int array to file function that uses Huffman encoding. The reading of it would also be needed. This would help in reading (writing) large files because file i/o takes a long time and the file sizes would be smaller resulting in easier downloading. Posted on 2004-12-19 02:45:55
Zip	Vec already has full zlib support in verge. I would be a thirty minute job to write a couple of functions that open this up to VC... if he ever awakens. Huffman is probably beyond the abilties of vc, I'll do rle though. Zip Posted on 2004-12-19 11:48:23
gannon	Well if zlib is in then that would be better than huffman (not sure really what it uses). But rle would not really work for the kinds of things I was thinking of. (mostly save formats and data files) Posted on 2004-12-19 13:13:34
