Would anyone be willing to make a write int array to file function that uses Huffman encoding. The reading of it would also be needed. This would help in reading (writing) large files because file i/o takes a long time and the file sizes would be smaller resulting in easier downloading.

Vec already has full zlib support in verge. I would be a thirty minute job to write a couple of functions that open this up to VC... if he ever awakens.
Huffman is probably beyond the abilties of vc, I'll do rle though.

Well if zlib is in then that would be better than huffman (not sure really what it uses). But rle would not really work for the kinds of things I was thinking of. (mostly save formats and data files)

zlib is inferior for saves and data?

it would be great but is not in yet that I know of. I was saying rle would be inferior.
