I think it's weird that there is a sfx file section in v1, v2, v3, etc. There should be a single Category called RESOURCES where sfx, music, sprites, etc. are stored.

For version-dependent resources, like maps and chrs, it would make sense to reside under their appropriate category.

You are correct. That will require some reworking of the system however.

In the meantime put non-engine-specific stuff in the general area and forget those other ones exist

Also correct! :D

Actually, maybe I can just hack this in a pleasing way...

Speaking of the file section, it gets pretty crowded when you have release v1.0, 1.1, 1.12 etc of the same thing. Same can be said for patches. How viable is it to have some kind of system where perhaps the submitter can remove their file from the site and resubmit a latest version? Is it even worth the effort of addressing? Just a thought...

That is actually in as of like... two days ago I think? You have the option of "Revision of file:" in the file uploader. Fire off an email to an admin, we can roll your existing versioned files together into one convenient little package

last night actually- there's a newer change out for the editor to simplify things, but me and grue need to calibrate our sleeping times somehow.. cause we always seem to be sleeping when the other is awake..
