I finally got around to making a gallery (working on my game for the first time in 5 months or so was the inspiration). Do I need to set the public/private thing to public in order for it to be visible to others, or does that just affect who can alter the contents of the gallery? It didn't say anything about this in the tutorial, so I wasn't sure.
Well, I tried setting it to public, but it still does not seem to show up. I tried reloading the front page over and over for an hour or so, but none of the images in my gallery showed up in the randomized screenshots (though I saw everything else multiple times). I must still be doing something wrong...
See, the gallery is public. But the thing is, the admins have to actually approve which galleries go front page. I'll do that for you though!
Public just allows people other than admins and yourself to view the gallery. Private galleries are hidden from the list to the public eye and if their id is entered, you'll be redirected if you lack privileges.
Ben McGraw's lovingly crafted this website from scratch for years.
It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
