Hey all.

I've been following Verge... probably since around 1998, back in the V1 days. I never did much but play around with it and have fanciful dreams of all the wonder and magic I would conjure out of it. But I was young and foolish then. I was excited about V2, but sort of lost interest during the time of V2 oddity.

I checked back here periodically, and the news of V3 was very exciting for me. Now that I've had a chance to experiment with it, I have to say that I really like where Verge has gone; that is, it's no longer really a tool just for creating similar RPGs, but it's more of a general game programming environment, which is awesome.

I don't think I ever registered for any of the forums here, but I decided to now because I plan on getting quite active in development using V3. I have a few projects in the pipeline that are sure to please.

In short, I just wanted to pop in at shout "hello".

Rock, rock on. I eagerly await a demo (or seven) from you... or anyone else for that matter. ;)

How long has it been since a non-contest demo upload has occured?

Too bad few people will get that (I assume).

Even fewer people would get it if I referred to him as a Camwhore. ;)

Well, his "Gott ist tot!" line tends to be taken rather out of context. I actually quoted (in German) from Die Geburt der Tragödie for one of my recent essays... how cool am I...

So, Alex, any sign of work rather than fruit any time soon?

Zip :D

I've been working! There's just no sign of it because I haven't mentioned it. I'd release a(nother) demo, only no one would be interested, so I'm not going to. :)

It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
