Help with diverdown?

i know this game has been out for a while. I have gotten stuck. I have to sneak back into the twilight. I have gotten characters up to lauren. I figure i have to the crimson tower, but i don't knoew where to find a nightwood staff. Can someone tell me where to get it or wat i supposed to do next?

ERm thbat doesnt help unfortunately. To be more descriptive, I am trying to get the boat up river but gared or w/.e hios name is says "were getting too close to the fort bla bla soemthing like that" and drek says" We shuld get ready or prepare before we go". I dont know wat to do then I know wheres wolfs den but I cant get across

Everybody gets stuck here, but sometimes it's because of a bug and sometimes it's because you're missing something obscure, and it's hard to tell which. Did you get the patch?

Thx I finally decided to try on Xp comp and it worked, didn't work on 98 though. However i have new problem now. I got Jhea back in my party and when the party gets seperated at remnants of blessed I always still have 2 people (2nd is the last person i was using b4 i switch). After the party joins again. I have a duplicate of the last person I used. I cant get that wolf guy cuz my party is full. Is ther a way to fix this?

Are you hacking the files or something? I've never heard of that bug at all. If your party has two of the same character then your game sounds hosed. I wouldn't imagine things would work properly from then on out, but anything's possible.
I hope you have a valid save game somewhere.

No i have not hacked and do now know how to mess with the program. However, I did xfer the files from a computer running windows 98 to an xp. That mitte cause the problem? The last file save i have that (without getting jhea back) 2-3 hours further behind and i have no urge to replay those 2-3 hours...

i do know the save files are not compatible between the two different executables. Transferring them is fine as long as you're running the same version of the game.

I would like to continue with the game, however I don't want to redo 3 hours worth of the game. Does anyone have a save file of anywhere between when you go back to the mainland and right after you get the wolf guy in ur party?
