Join the team. The objective is to get a massive group of people to create a massive game in VERGE. Join now. Even if you're going to be like Esk and spam with pictures and stuff. :D

sure sounds fun always wanted to be a part of a core team and not just a critic coming in after the fact.
I even posted.

for real?
I'm still on the Midsummer team but I don't know where Alex is.. plus, I haven't done any work in Verge for a very long time. Would like to start doing some consistent work... I'd like to get into smaller teams but grenideer still hasn't sent me my art so I can use them as samples. :\

Yay for teams that have no general (or specific) direction!

I plan for the team to be for real. Well, besides George Bush and Bill Gates and the people that say they're doing nothing...
I hope for more people to possibly post in the forum (click), so we can get an idea of what kind of game we want to develop and go from there. Eventually, when enough has been decided, the team will be solid and given a real name, and then the team will start working on it.
This was the idea that came to me today: 'Hey, wouldn't it be cool if I could gather the local VERGE community and have them work on a game as opposed to idling in IRC or lurking the forums? It might be fun.' Thus the MAKE GAMES TEAM was established.

Here I am. I was wondering where you'd got to though... Glad to see you're still alive. ;)
Alex.

You bitch; last I heard you were going to jail. :3
E-mail! :P.. my University life has been pretty chaotic, but I've settled in (kinda) and I'm ready to go again.

Apologies to Overkill for cluttering his thread with this nonsense, but I'd just like to mention that have not, in fact, gone to jail or done anything illegal at all recently. Thank you. :P
Alex.

...Is there a pressing reason why you show an inability to log in?

haha. I remember when arias would post as anonymous...now Alex is.
BTW, there's no way I could join right now seeing as how I got another RPG in development which I'm taking very seriously.

I think it's a cool idea that I'd want to be apart of.

Ok, count me in. Working on part of something with a huge team seems much easier compared to doing nearly everything.
I'ev put myself down as a story guy, but I can do character portraits etc. too so I suppose that makes me an artist guy as well.

Hey... neat idea. I'd sign up to help, but I've got my hands kinda full between school and my own game. :( That said, though, I'm curious and eager to see what comes out of all this. Good luck with everything, guys. :D

We've established that we'll likely be working on a tactical game. But, hopefully without the linear, move-to-the-next-dot-and-fight gameplay. Yeah, and it seems some people didn't know where the forums were (somehow), so I've taken the liberty to make the forum link noticeable. ( href=http://ovk.actionsketch.com/?do=forumview&area=9999).
Once we get some ideas laid down, we'll split the jobs up (or, rather tell you what we need from the job you signed up for) and try to make sure that wires don't get crossed. And that's about it, so far.

I'm in. Sounds like fun. I can do pretty much whatever except for music... well, GOOD music. So just tell me what's needed and I'll see what I can do.
