I've been working on sprites, maps & music for a story I would like to develop. The story is outlined and I've done a slop job of summarizing it with out giving to much away. In a some what dust jacket fashion. Envisioned the game would, play like a gun slingin' Secret of Mana, yet have the customization of an online game. Basically a game that feels like a comic/movie with a rockin' roll sound track.

..... Ahem... any how I really need to find help, programing for the most part but some one who would really like to make something that won't just sit on the self. Lemme know.

Here's a bit of story to give you an idea. This is of course the second of 3 volumes in the story. The 1st would really be the second but yeah......

Sommerlost: Volume2

Chapter1

The beginning is over and life has expired. The voice of a parasitic god echo's into the past, hunting for his disembodied psyche. The final chapter of survival has begun...

Three years have passed, and the collective entity known as Sommer continues to spread, feeding off the minds of those he infects. A small scientific guild continues to fight the coming onslaught, blind to the enemy with in. Our protagonist have aged, and the world is laying witness to long lost power in man that has begun to erupt. Skye, the former heir to Aydris Region and her lover / bodyguard Rex continue to escort Jyrus closer to an ancient land known as "the creation point".

All the while, Jyrus continues to experience the grow of his own powers of healing and creation as they venture closer the worlds oldest secret. The friends become more and more distanced as commitment and destiny drive friends apart and define their lives far beyond their own control. Their trump card may lie in lost love, Joanna the girl that fell between the lines.

Sommerlost is a tale much smaller than the fate of the world, it's a tale of consequence, self & destruction as the wrong people are called upon once more to fight the future.

Your graphics are fantastic. Doing the obstructions for it in Maped is a going to be a pain in the butt for you, though. :-D

I have one minor comment, which may or may not be worth it for you to change. The fountain in the first screenshot... if the fountain is supposed to be circular if it were viewed from directly above (in theory of course), the angle appears a bit off. It can be hard to align something circular in the isometric angle you are working with, but there is a trick. If you have it drawn correctly, you should be able to draw a diamond-shape, following the angled axes of the isometric perspective (think, a large isometric tile), where the points of the diamond exactly touch the top, bottom, and side edges of the circle (putting the diamond inside).

You did all of this in Photoshop alone? That is really incredible.

There is some serious potential here- and it would be a shame to go without a good programmer for the game.

If you find little help - I reckon I could lend a hand;
I've never actually _done_ an ff style battle system, but I'm pretty familiar with loads of stuff; and I've been a verger for a long time now.

That looks awesome, indeed. I'd be willing to help a small bit with the programming aspects, if you need it.
