Hellooo!
I finally made a little demo for the Gruedorf challenge!

http://armorfactory.hextudio.com/?p=9

I'm posting it here because I fear, not being listed in the official contender list on front page, that too few people know of my site.

Here's a resume of what it contains.
Real-time, active battles:

A little town:

A little menu:

Go check it out, and tell me what you think of it :)
Get it on my site, or here directly.

Nice work. Where are those tiles from?

The battle system looks nice so far. As a matter of keeping users pleased and interested, I'd totally consider either starting the timers at with the first unit to go at 0, and maybe speeding up the ticks some.

People hate waiting doing nothing, and the gamemaker's job is to make sure people are enjoying themselves!

Welcome to the competition, too. I look forward to crushing you beneath my inexorable heel. Make sure you find an arch-nemesis in the competition to taunt and threaten!

Yeah, tweaking the stats and the speed isn't the easiest thing in the world as I thought it would be haha ! :)

The tiles are from here:
http://www.lorestrome.com/pixel_archive/main.htm, from a guy named Hyptosis. I suggest you take a look at it!

They're quite beautiful, although a little limited and not in verge format hehe.

I also took my heroes pic there.

Hyptosis?

I know Hyptosis.

Ah yeah, I thought I knew those tiles.

... And then posting links for retail websites. This is a tactic similar to me attending a dinner party and ending every sentence with "shop at Marks and Spencer: it's lovely". It doesn't take too long before people start giving you funny looks and soon afterwards you're rudely ejected for being bizarre and annoying.

Ben McGraw's lovingly crafted this website from scratch for years.
It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
