Barring huge dealbreaker bugs and RL trauma, no force on Earth will stop me from releasing something by Friday, September 24th. It may be sloppy and slow and amateurish, and it will definitely be very small, but it will be public. It won't be the LBS, though. My battle-system tendencies are being diverted at the moment.
This is not a hype thread. I just need to announce it so people will make fun of me if I don't follow through.

Indeed. I'm not making as much progress as I'd hoped (in part due to some coding snags), but I think I can still have something quarter-decent out by the deadline, even if it won't be quite as functional as I'd've liked.

I am owned. I will not have nearly enough done by Friday to release, so I am joining the Deadline Shame Club. I will continue to work on the thingy, but not as enthusiastically, since it's been more of a problem than I anticipated.
I will henceforth wear this empty hourglass around my neck as a symbol of my disgrace.
