Long ago, zeromus started designing a .NET sprite previewer called ROOBARB. It took sprite sheets and VERGE-style movescripts and displayed the animations for you, so you could see how your sprites would look without manually compiling them into an animation or actually inserting them into a game. Unfortunately, it did this
very poorly, because it was never finished.
I've decided to pick up the project where zero left off. There's a lot of housekeeping that needs to be done, so it's still extremely rudimentary, but it can now export animations to .CHR files, which is nice because I always used it to preview my CHRs anyhow. If any of you are interested, you can find it
here. You'll need a recent version of the .NET framework.
Once it's a bit more complete I'll probably give it a frontpage post, but you guys can see it now because I wuv oo. If you find any bugs, feel free to report them here!
