Yep. That movie is the only reason I even know what poutine is. Gayo failed at his Canadian-given responsibility of informing me.
Also, I didn't realize how hard it is to get a citizenship in Canada, compared to the US. I also didn't realize how cool of a place Canada is. It still sucks, a lot, though.

Hondas are gay. Also never buy one in Quebec. That is all.
Honda Financing of Quebec are very 'Quebeque' or whatever the fuck and are the fucking scum of the earth. If I could drive a flaming bus over a pile of corpses of my choice, it'd be theirs. Sarah's Honda was a piece of ass though and it was only a 2000. Through our experiences with the car and the company, yeah, fuck them. My Trooper's a year older and the only problem I've had with it was having to replace the air manifold intake gasket at around 45k miles (which was free since the warranty was good for 60k), and hell, I'm willing to bet my old '88 is still running just fine. I see them everywhere.
As a site note, and no offense Tat, but there is nothing more gay than people who deck their cars out with racing spoilers and spinning hubcaps and shit. The greatest thing I have ever witnessed, on two occasions no less, is a super-low-rider Japanese-racing-toyed-up pickup truck having a blow-out and destroying half of the car in the process. I also laughed whenever a first-timer on the U of H campus would go plowing through the entrance intersection at 60mph, unaware of the gigantic dip+bump in the road there. Those with ground-hugging decked-out riceburners would pretty much fuck up their car. 'Performance machines' my ass if you can't take a bump in the road.

dude. a nascar stock car would bomb out on that and those are _definitely_ performance machines. and why would you offend me with the spoilers and shit. i dont have a spoiler, my rims arent spinners. i have racing rims with racing tires. everything else aftermarket is _under the hood_. my car didnt quite qualify as rice.
on a side note, they found the car. it got slightly stripped but get this. they took off all the rims, but left 3 of them in the trunk??? wtf. they totally fucked up the interior, however. and they hit something with the front.

I ran over an aluminum ladder (which fell off the service truck in front of me) in my car once doing 75 on the freeway. It was awesome, and after a full inspection we confirmed that there was zero damage. Also my point was that it's hard to think you're the shit for owning a vehicle that can even handle what it was originally built for.
Also pimping out a consumer vehicle always seemed to me to be pretty similar to pimping out your boss's computer -- maybe it can go fast as hell, but it's not like you'll really get the chance to enjoy it properly.

oh also! you say it cant handle what it originally could, but its better than other ways. you dont have as much ground clearance but you can corner better, etc.

What I mean is, when people pimp out a consumer car in the attempt to make it a racecar, and clearly never get to average more than 45mph on 75% of roads due to things like laws, cops, traffic, etc., while at the same time losing that ground clearance, well.
The car itself was originally meant to handle a general variety of road conditions and eventualities, and now that set of things it can handle has been decreased by the modifications. Stuff like the occasional blowout, the dip in the road you didn't know was there, running over shit on the freeway, etc. But at the same time, the car never gets to indulge its racing aspirations, unless you take it out on those looooong empty roads with no people and few police around, like out in West Texas, the Al-Can highway, or Utah and Nevada. But there's still crap in the road, cracks, dips, and shit like that, and lots and lots of animals. You see more car-related deer carcasses going through West Texas than a redneck convention.

Yeah, like people who usually pimp out their car are going to follow road rules. I think we can pretty much assert when we see a highly modified car in the street, that their driver is using the normal roads for their racing desire.
I for one, only hate one thing, loud cars. I mean the kind you hear like when it passes and you turn around by instinct. I mean, they modified their cars to make more sound but it's the same crappy 4 cylinder motor in it. So you see a fucking slow ass car trying to get it's torque up while getting this powerfull sound. For me is the same thing then if I saw a really beefed up dude who can't lift his own child. Simply put it, if your car sucks, be humble and save your money to get something better. I for one have no interest in seeing you drive your piece of crap down the road. Oh and you are only adding to the noise pollution.

I live in Nevada! and also i live like 15 minutes from the speedway (which ive been to!)
ive raced my car, and its fun. thats whats cool about going out to the races. you dont have idiots saying things like 'wow look at that rice burner' because they let your driving and your car talk.
I could roll up next to someone like yourself or toen in any kind of honda with a loud exhaust (oh no!) and immediately its 'riced out'. lame lame lame.
note the lack of gigantic spoiler and lame ass body kit. that is what rice shit is. all show, no go.

Lol, I wasn't talking about you. It's obvious your car is not the PLEASE LOOK AT ME STYLE! I just pointed out that I hate show off who have nothing to show off. Which in fact are on the rise lately. =/
