Amazing. The isometric engine is quite amazing. Better than impressive, especially for freelance. This thing looks on par with SimCity 2000-3000. Again, amazing.

Yep, totally amazing work! But doesn't it take a long time to make graphics this good in the long run? If you can keep up with this quality for a whole game, it would be quite an achievement.

Mythril

Is it 3D saved as tiles, or is it actually realtime rendered?
Very nice, in both cases. :)

I'm guessing this isn't a verge project? ;)

Stunning... this is a very exciting time for indie game dev... I'm constantly surprised by the quality of stuff being put out!

Can't wait to give it a play :) I'm sure you'll keep us updated

By itself the screen is a nice piece of work. Like what Ratgash said, it'd be extremely impressive if you manage to have such consistent graphics throughout the game.

Hopefully you'll manage to pull that off.

My understanding was that this is indeed a verge project and he's just going to grab tiles from that.

Thanks for the comments on the picture. Since then I've finally finished the 1st town. I'm planning on posting something tonight to draw some more attention and hopefully snag a programer **hint hint**

And to answer a question there is no 3D involved it's all textured pixel work created 100% in photoshop. And even tho the view is isometic I'm hoping it can still be re-created with normal tiles.

That's definately outstanding!
Pseudo-3d tiles O_o
Can't wait to see more.

Am I the only one incapable of seeing his screenshots due to his hosting being crap and won't allow direct or remote linking?
