Gannon, Gayo, and Kildorf were wonderful Beta Testers (whom I forgot to mention in the credits, and I will remedy in the next week). They generated a small mountain of bug notices that I plowed through to get Sully to this state.

However, I'm sure a few have slipped through the cracks. The netcode functionality and the text input box seem to cause errors sometime, although not reliably reproducable, and we'd like more information on those. As well as on anything else!

So any overdights, please add here. Presently the following is on my list:

  1. Fix the bluebird's speech port

  2. Fix the GetTag()'s namebox for the Tagboard responses

  3. Make the Lab-blowup reset to the beginning of the countdown sequence.

Make non-usability feature requests and offers of code and/or help in other threads. You have that power. ;)

Copied from my other post:

I found 1 bug in the Mountain Laboratory after you melt the ice around Crystal. It is specifically when Crystal and Sara have their little fight and you regain control of Darin. The problem is, if you are to take even a single step down, the path upwards is obstructed and you will be stuck forever unless you restart/reload.

Oh, and I don't know if this is a bug or not, but are you supposed to be able to access the menu while a textbox is scrolling or being displayed?

Not you are not supposed to be able to access the menu then. Where is it letting you?

Not sure if this is intentional or not, but if you talk to the mountain sage with Crystal in your party, he takes your money regardless of whether you say 'yes' or 'no'.

Odd, I can't reproduce it. I could have sworn it let me do this last night, but it works perfectly now.

Aha. That could be worked into being intentional, but no. Odd, I remember seeing this on the lists, but I must've unintentionally deleted it because I know I didn't fix it. Thanks for the heads up, writing that down on my paper list now.

Gayo

I found quite a few places where you could access the menu while the text was being scrolled. A couple might have squeaked through.

I should have resolved all the ones in the final list you gave me, Gayo. Are there more in this current version?

Gayo

No, I just assumed. No clue if all those ones were fixed.

Here's all the ones I noticed :)

- After changing my clothes in Bumsville the old ones came back when I went to the world map

- The bottom of the shop menu turned grey if I went to the side one, then back inside to buy something (with the characters still having a blue background)

- In the saved games it comes with, the colors on options for the purple box areas can't go up only down. Didn't test that out much to see if there's any other reason it happens, slot 8 - switching back to defaults worked fine.

- Locked up without an internet connection when trying to get tagboard messages from the sad octopus.

- Starlight had a white blob square for the icon

-Clothes: because the other darin chrs lack the extra frames, I agree it'd be nice to keep your style though :)

-Shop: Sounds odd, probably down to variable not being re-initialised right.

-Saves and colours: Couldn't get this when I tried, also though save keeps the current colour scheme, it really shouldn't affect the modification of it...

-Internet: Yeah, I've been having it bomb out on me for various of the internet bits, mostly with cannot find image messages.

-Starlight... I thought that *was* its icon...

I definitely need to make the inet stuff presently in the packin more... friendly. Sorry.

Gayo

The Starlight icon doesn't show up? That's weird.
