Does VERGE 3 use DirectX or does it use another graphics library. I just want to make sure of this so I'm not confused when creating a system requirements for my readme files when showcasing my demos to the public.

You know what, I have no idea. I just know it works on XP right off.

Overkill
It uses DirectX in Windows, and I think SDL on Mac and Linux.

Well, probably at least DirectX 7, graphics card really doesn't need to be compatible with DirectX to a large extent since it's not using any hardware acceleration anyways. I'd recommend they just get DirectX 9 or something though.
