It's been nearly a year since I last posted this sort of thing, so let's have another go at it.

What are you working on? Are you running into any problems? Tell us! We like to hear stories, we like to see pictures, and we like to help people who are having troubles.

For myself, I'm currently not working on Geas much at all, which is terrible and I will fix soon. That said, I have recently picked a Verge-project to work on (not a game, but rather an engine extension of sorts) that should make things a little nicer on the back-end. More on that as it gets further along!

C'mon, let us see your games!

Anyone at all?

Well, here's what I'm doing: I have been slowing working on a game (Geas) for more than six years now. I'm not really getting anywhere real; I keep leaving it for months at a time and deciding to restart things and all that.

So I've decided to take a different tack. I clearly need to just work on getting better at making (and finishing) games so I've set myself a goal: I'm going to aim to make a new, small game every single month. This may slip a bit in accordance with real life, but that is the goal.

My first game: I'm going to tell the story of Omen between Journey to Black Mountain and Geas. I haven't really ever gotten far enough to make this clear with Geas, but in the intervening 4-5 years, Omen changes a lot, and it's kind of a jarring transition without a bit of explanation. This game will be an attempt to do that.

I should be starting up Gruedorf posts about this sometime this week. I've already started working on some art while I put together the story in my head.

Anyone else want to join me in my fool's errand of making a game every month?

It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
