I first saw this at work a few days back, and couldn't really demo it. Now that I have, I just wanted t say that it's a neat little tech demo. It's definitly a variant on the concept I'm not familiar with in console-style systems, and seems like it could be used as a unique graphical element in something, along the lines of that 'SmaaaaSSSHHHH!' that Earthbound had on crit hits.

Ustor, as far as traditional bouncing digits: There's a waving printstring function as a utility library in the current WIP build of Sully. Hopefully I'll release that shortly. (heh...)

I am quite certain that basil != ustor. I think Grue's just been hitting the drinks a bit too hard.
In his defense, it does say 'User' under basil's name. That's like... almost close to 'ustor'. Sort of.
