I do remember reading a thread on what V3 music will soon be able to do, and I know that it's using some new Mod library, right? Fmod or something?
Well, my main question is: can V3, as it is right now, play MP3s?
And is file-reading in there somewhere? If the function names are the same as V2 VC then that's great. I wasn't sure if file-writing examples were in any current demos.
If this was answered I apologize.
Also--do anyone think it would be a good idea to make a new version of the Verge FAQ/Q&A Column that used to be on Vergesource? That way people could browse recently asked questions and somesuch. Certainly it's a lot of work and it's not really necessary--but I wanted to know if you guys already had that in mind.

The V3 the was distibuted with Timeless and Pulser still uses mikmod.. So any version of v3 you might have will only be able to play mikmod types, which does not include MP3.
However, fmod plays all those mod types along with OGG and MP3.
In regards to the FAQ idea, I think I will start a locked sticky and put all good FAQs there.
